Biography
Ariana Díaz (Guadalajara, MX, 1993) analyzes the practices that are normalized within historicity or land use, determining approaches both outside and within what is deemed "truth" or within territories. Her research is situated from various disciplines, such as photography, video, installation, or various technological devices.
Currently a professor at ITESO University. Beneficiary of the Talent Repatriation Grant (GRODMAN 2024), Young Creators (FONCA 2022-23). She studied the Seminar on Photographic Production at the Center for the Image (2021). She studied Visual Arts at Udeg (2013-2017) and had an academic stay in Visual Arts at U Finis Terrae in Chile (2016). Co-founder of Espacio Negativo. Her work has been exhibited collectively in Venice, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Mexico.
