Plataforma Residency

A fundamental aspect of Plataforma is its biannual residency program for emerging artists. This program selects two visual artists to undertake a 5-month residency, with the aim of developing an artistic project that involves research and experimental production, in relation to the social, political, and aesthetic context of Guadalajara, as well as to the artist's place of residence.

Residents will primarily work at the studios located on the 3rd level of Plataforma. They will also be able to undertake parts of their project with the Suro Ceramic Factory. The program lasts 5 months, with two annual cycles: from November to March and from May to September.
